It is not enough to filter your water the volume of the pool once per day. The minimum should be three times per day which will allow for filtering of up to 95% of the water in the pool at least one time. Again, this is the minimum. If you want a pool that uses less chemicals then you should abandon any notion of minimum filtration requirements and instead strive to filter as much water as possible every day, three times volume minimum.
