Описание: This video is about my visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. The mosque was the dream of the UAE’s founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who wanted a place that shows the peaceful and moderate message of Islam, and it opened for worship in 2007.

The mosque can hold around 40–50 thousand worshippers and is famous for its pure white marble, 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns and stunning courtyards with huge marble mosaics. Inside, you can see one of the largest hand‑knotted carpets in the world and massive chandeliers decorated with crystals and gold, all designed using a mix of Mughal, Persian, Moorish and Arab architectural styles.
