New update!! • How to use the New UKVCAS IDV App
Following the release of the UKVCAS IDV app 10 days ago, the Home Office have made their first ILR decisions. The most recent decision was made less than 4 working days after the applicant used the IDV app to submit their photograph and passport.
It has also become apparent that invitation to use the app is being sent out in order of those who paod their visa fees first. Currently those who applied in April are receiving invitations and soon those who applied in June, July or August will follow.
This app will eventually replace face to face biometric appointments for some visa applicants. The UKVCAS IDV app now allows previously- recorded biometric information to be submitted directly from your smartphone.
