Описание: Exotic dancer Gypsy Rose Lee (1911-1970) became an international celebrity as a beautiful and brainy stripper. In this “Sunday Morning” feature that originally aired February 20, 2011, correspondent Rita Braver lays bare the life of Lee, whose career (and stage mother) inspired a celebrated Broadway musical. Braver also talks with biographer Karen Abbott, and with Gypsy’s son, Erik Preminger (who would learn later in life the identity of his famous father). She also pays a visit to the New York School of Burlesque.
