Описание: With Winter now upon us, we have been thinking back to happy holidays in the past. We have been talking recently about the one we had which allowed us to briefly visit Oban in Scotland, five years ago. We dug out the videos taken at the time which were on videotape, before Hard Drive camcorders were on the market. I began to wonder how I could possibly edit camcorder video tape these days as modern laptops no longer have Firewire inputs. So I resurected an old camcorder for the miniature tape playback and cleared some space on an old laptop for Firewire input and editing. I went through the process of editing from two original tapes. That takes a lot more time than with modern hard drive equipment and uses a lot more memory in the process. But I have now managed to remind myself now how to edit camcorder tapes! This could be useful in future as the older tapes do cover increasingly interesting content for me as the years pass by!.
