Today's Catholic Liturgy (Lectionary 216) reveals Jesus as the Son of God who provides life and cleansing, demonstrating His power through faith, mercy, and prayer.
The Victory of Faith: The First Reading (1 John 5:5–13) provides great assurance: whoever possesses the Son has life, and this eternal life is a present possession for those who believe.
