BEAUTY BALM and RESCUE BALM - contains ‘Manuka’ Essential Oil. Manuka essential oil is the essential oil derived from the leaves and branches of the Manuka Tree, native to New Zealand. It is different to the Tea Tree Oil (Australia) which often exceeds in its microbial activities. The essential oil does not contain honey. However, the rescue balm and beauty balm are not vegan as they both embrace sweetly wild flowery scented propolis: In older times Romans, Greek people and Egyptians used this generous gift of the bees to treat skin. Its antiviral, antibacterial, anti fungal and anti-inflammatory benefits are legendary and have been known for centuries.
