About Marugame City

Marugame City in Kagawa Prefecture has a population of approximately 1,160,000, making it the sixth most populous city in Kagawa Prefecture. Marugame City is known as the birthplace of Sanuki udon, and is famous for its many udon restaurants. There are also many tourist attractions such as Marugame Castle and Marugame Station, through which the Kotoden Line of the Takamatsu Kotohira Electric Railway runs 😀.
