Gravis Robotics and Taylor Woodrow trial their autonomous excavator at Manchester Airport

The robotic independent nature of the excavator model SV100-7 is enabled by the use of 3D models and artificial intelligence (AI). Operatives are able to upload 3D models or CAD models of what they want the excavator to dig and the machine does this autonomously.
NCE was present at a trial of the autonomous excavator on 21 October as it prepares to be used in a live construction site of the construction of Clough Bank B car park.
