Man Electrocuted In Barrackpore

Описание: An unidentified man is dead after attempting to tamper with utility cables in Barrackpore.

At around 2am on Saturday, Barrackpore police officers received information that someone was electrocuted at Rochard Douglas Road, Barrackpore. Upon investigation, a man was discovered slumped and motionless across the overhead cables.

Police believe the victim was cutting and stealing TSTT cables in the area when the incident occurred. Two hacksaw sets were found nearby, and some TSTT cables were cut and hanging in the area.

Electricity supply was disrupted and was restored at 6am.

Investigations are continuing.
