For today's episode of "Professional Dancer Reacts" I react to BINI "Blink Twice" Practice Video.
BINI absolutely killed it with "Blink Twice" and I'm still processing how clean this choreography is.
So we finally got around to BINI's "Blink Twice" dance practice video and honestly, this group continues to blow me away. The song might be short at around 2.5 minutes, but they packed every second with insane precision and dynamics. What really stood out was watching them nail the choreography while maintaining stable vocals - that's some serious multitasking mastery right there. The practice video format really lets you appreciate the technical skill behind what looks effortless in their polished performances.
What I loved:
-The sharpness mixed with slow-motion contrast - They hit those dynamics so hard upstage while creating this beautiful juxtaposition with slower movements downstage. It's like watching two different textures blend perfectly.
-That pinwheel formation - Look, if you've ever done marching band, you know how difficult it is when someone's taking huge steps on the outside while the center barely moves. The peripheral awareness required is insane and they made it look seamless.
-How they hit the bass drops - Instead of just following melodies and hi-hats like most groups, they actually choreographed to those "doom doom dada" bass moments. That attention to musical detail separated this from everything else.
-Individual character within perfect unity - Each member brings their own flavor to the moves without compromising the cleanliness. That's an incredibly hard line to walk, especially for a group this size.
-The way they use space and formations - Those diagonal transitions were seamless, and watching the lead singer weave through formations while everyone else stayed locked in was just beautiful choreography.
Call to action: I'm curious what you all think - are you as impressed by their technical growth as I am? And do you want to see them try something completely different style-wise, maybe something more swagger or fierce? Drop your thoughts below because I love hearing what catches your eye in these performances.
