💰 Picking a Realtor is one of the most important things you can do when buying a home.

Think of all the time and energy you will spend researching homes, looking at homes on the internet and viewing homes. That's a ton of time.

☠️ If you don't choose your real estate agent the correct way, there's a good chance you can get hurt.

The sad thing is, you may get hurt and know it or you may NOT know it.

Of course, if you lose the dream home because of your Realtor, you'll know it. But what if you get the home? But you could have paid less money?

😡 Maybe everything was going well until the inspection or appraisal came back. Then your Realtor didn't know how to handle it and your home purchase blow up.

So, please don't think all Realtors are the same.

You want to hire someone how's experienced, knowledgeable, honest and who has your best interest in mind.

So many agents have these titles and credentials that mean nothing. They either make them up and they go to a meaningless 4-hour course. Hire a Realtor that has lots of experience in what you are looking for!

(2:42) Research the Realtor(s) You Are Thinking of Hiring:
Check out their Bio on their website. Look at their Facebook Business Page and YouTube Channel. Make sure they are how they say they are.

(3:08) Realtor Reviews:
Reviews can be good and bad. So take ALL reviews with a grain of salt. Try to find (or get) video reviews from the real estate agents past clients. Type in YouTube {agents name} - Reviews.

(4:16) Pre-Interview / Interview:
Get 3- 5 agents you've done your research on and email them a pre-interview... Tell them what you are looking for and ask them 2 questions:
1. Why should I work with you?
2. What do you do differently than all the other Realtors?

If you do these 5 things you have a very high chance of picking a GREAT Realtor.
