A fresh official notice dated 6 May 2026 has been uploaded on the 8th Central Pay Commission website. This update matters because it announces another round of interactions in Delhi, after the 28-30 April meetings where many organisations could not get an appointment slot.
Key update from the notice:
The 8th CPC will hold interactions in Delhi on 13 and 14 May 2026 (Wednesday and Thursday). This interaction is specifically for institutions and organisations linked to the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Railways, and for unions and associations of Defence Forces and Railway employees that are located and registered in Delhi.
If your organisation wants to meet the Commission, you must request an appointment by the deadline mentioned in the notice (10 May 2026). Use the contact details mentioned in the official notice. Venue and time details are usually shared after appointment confirmation.
Most important rule:
Your memorandum must be submitted on the official portal first. Keep your Memo ID ready. Without a Memo ID, your representation may not be taken up for discussion, because the Commission is not accepting physical letters during the interaction process.
Why this matters for employees and pensioners:
Pay Commission interactions are limited and time bound. Not everyone can speak in person, but everyone can submit a memorandum online. If you want your pay, pension, and allowance issues to be counted in the Commission analysis, the portal submission is the safest way to ensure your point reaches the panel.
What you should prepare
Your key 5 to 10 demands in clear points, not long paragraphs
Pay Matrix issues (level, entry pay, increments, promotion pay fixation)
Allowances issues (HRA, TA, risk and hardship, field and duty related allowances)
Pension issues (parity, anomalies, commutation, retirement benefits)
Railway specific and Defence specific points relevant to your cadre
Supporting facts and references you already submitted in the memorandum
What NOT to do:
Do not wait for the last day to submit, server load can delay OTP or login
Do not send PDFs by email expecting acceptance, use the portal submission
Do not keep your representation generic, write the exact issue and the exact fix you want
How this helps you (practical impact):
When the Commission compiles feedback, it will look at repeated patterns: which demands appear across departments, how many pensioners mention the same anomaly, and which allowances are repeatedly flagged as outdated. That is why even a short, clear memorandum from an individual matters. It increases the count and strengthens the case for your issue to be studied and recommended.
If you are a pensioner or a family member helping a veteran:
You can submit the memorandum from your own device in minutes. If an elderly veteran is not comfortable with technology, help them submit once and save the Memo ID. That Memo ID is proof that the issue has reached the Commission system.
1. If you are from Defence or Railways and your association is registered in Delhi, apply for the appointment now.
2. Even if your organisation applies, submit your personal memorandum too, so your issue is counted independently.
3. Share this update with colleagues, veterans, and pensioner groups so nobody misses the deadline again.
