J Dilla - The New Slave (1999)

Описание: Straight from the cassette! no gaps and no remastering necessary!

I removed the gaps on iZotope RX10 and exported as FLAC so as to not harm any quality by re-encoding to MP3. The source files were around 320kbps and they were the highest quality version I was able to source. I've heard some remasters and denoises of this batch around, remastering this tape is not necessary and the benefits of denoising it don't justify the artifacts that process introduces in return so I think it's best to leave it as is.

As with most, if not all Dilla beat tapes, the track titles are fan made and in this case so is the title "The New Slave", however, this title has been used to identify the batch by Okayplayer and the Dilla Time book as well as the majority of Dilla fans. "Cover small.jpg" is the highest resolution of the fan-made cover art that I could find, I was able to do a nice upscale of it though. I don't know who made the cover art, if anyone does, please let me know.
