In this video, I catch a CDC bus (Route 640) from Ballina Byron Gateway Airport to Brunswick Heads. The bus I catch is the 9:05 am service from the airport to Mullumbimby, stopping at Lennox Heads and Byron Bay. In Mullumbimby, I change to another bus (Route 645 to Ocean Shores) for the final leg of the journey to Brunswick Heads.

The journey takes a little less than 2 hours from the airport to Brunswick Heads—about the same time as an airport transfer service.

The trip costs less than $10 for adults. If you have an Australian Seniors Card or Pensioner Card, the fare is only $2.50. The bus driver accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
