Pakistan Weather Update: Heatwave Incoming After May 10 | Rain Alert Before Extreme Heat

In this latest Pakistan weather update, we bring you a complete forecast for today (7 May) and the upcoming 8–10 days.
According to the latest meteorological analysis, most parts of Pakistan will remain hot and dry until May 10, with temperatures rising in central and southern regions including Sindh, Punjab, and بلوچستان.
A new rain system is expected to enter Pakistan between May 11 and May 14, bringing thunderstorms, gusty winds, and chances of hailstorms in upper areas such as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan, along with parts of northern Balochistan and central Punjab.
However, southern Punjab, سندھ, and most of بلوچستان will remain hot and dry even during this period.

A strong and possibly prolonged heatwave is expected to begin from May 14–16 across Pakistan. Temperatures may rise significantly above normal, and this heatwave could persist for an extended period, possibly affecting Eid days as well.
