NAVEY found a LiZARD FRiEND!! Adley & Niko Ride in a Safari Truck to Find Animals on family vacation

Best Animal Day Ever 1278

Today we are at Animal Kingdom!! Probably my favorite place in both Disney World and Disneyland. Sure the rides are fun and I enjoy the other parks, i just always have a blast while in the zoo of animal kingdom. Right off the bat, we find a lizard climbing all over a Bambi statue. Adley Almost caught it. We get a little ways in when we are presented with our very own Junior Wilderness explore book. In it Adley and Niko can find tons of different animals, complete challanges, and even earn patches.

We are off to find as many animals as we can. We find pink flamingos first, their is a brand new baby and it is so cute. Then its otters, turtles, ants, and monkeys. So many creatures here, Adley and Niko Bear are marking their books so fast. We also see parrots that are just flying free in the park. While we are exploring, we see some boats out in the water. It's a water parade. One has Mickey and Minnie on it and the while family is so pumped to see them. We also see Pocahontas and here raccoon friend Meeko, which sounds a lot like Niko!!

Now we are off to an African safari to try and see the last animals that Niko and Adley need to find for their patches. Along the way, Navey discovers a brand new game, if she jumps and says "hop" Jenny and Adley will do the same. It is so cute! We get on the truck to go see all sorts of animals. Lions and rhinos, giraffes and elephants, we even get a part of our tour guided by an ostrich. The kids are in a trance looking at all of the animals. This is like a super zoo or farm with all of them. We then find a giant fish tank with a hippo swimming around inside. As Niko says, "they are ginormous!!" We wrap up our time in the Africa park with a Lion King show and seeing snakes, bugs, and gorillas!

Next stop is Pandora and the world of Avatar. This place has my favorite ride all time, the one where you are flying around on a giant banshee that you see in the movie. Niko Bear is a little to short to ride, so Jenny goes first with Adley and then I take a turn. While Adley and I are on the ride, a rain storm moves in, and it starts raining pretty hard. Jenny, Niko, and Navey find some shelter in a gift shop. Adley and I try to find them, but the rain is coming down pretty hard and there was some loud lightning that we needed to wait till it passed to find the family.

Once the rain stops, we bring thee family together again, we ride some more rides before heading into dinosaur land. We find this amazing park with fossils and slides everywhere. Adley and Niko can't get enough of this place. It actaully looks really really fun, so Jenny, Navey, and I all go down the slides with them.

We end the day going on a dinosaur ride that Niko is just tall enough to ride (YES!!) before heading back to our hotel for the night. On the way out, Jenny and the kids pretend play that the stroller is a ride are running all over, avoiding obstacles and laughing! I love it!!
