Youppi! was the Montreal Expos mascot who replaced the short lived Souki in the late 1970's. Youppi! was designed by the same mastermind behind the Phillie Phanatic and some of the most legendary muppets characters like Miss Piggy. Youppi! had his most infamous moment when he was ejected from a record breaking 22-inning baseball game. Tommy Lasorda wasn't having any of his antics and decided to request the umpires to toss the mascot from the game. As of this recording, it is still the only time a mascot has ever been ejected! You can now find Youppi! cheering on the Montreal Canadians hockey team, making him the first team mascot to ever switch leagues, going from MLB to the NHL.
