SD-1 Minisport #46 D-MTDC, training flight inside view from start to landing

Описание: Let me take you along on my third flight on D-MTDC.
I bougt a gopro and installed it inside the cockpit. Sorry about the shaking and rattling, the mount was not what I expected it to be, but nonetheless, here's the footage!
I took the plane once around the pattern.

If you watch closely you'll see at one point I exceeded 180 kph. Neat.
That felt quite fast in this little plane.

This engine called SE33 (33hp) is based on a 810ccm Briggs&Stratton vertical shaft V-Twin which has been converted to horizontal shaft (obviously). This particular engine model was choosen for its exceptional light weigth. Igor Spacek (CZ) plans to market this converted engine not only to SD1 customers but eventually also to other light aviation enthusiasts.
This is one of the first engines of the series out there and we experienced some issues with a leaky oil line (    • SD-1 Minisport #46 D-MTDC low & fast fly b...   go to the end of the video) as well as the oil pump being unwilling to built up pressure after a prolonged standstill of the engine. Solutions to these problems have already been found, so they will be solved in subsequent issues of the engine.
