Sheer Khurma Recipe
Ingredients:
3 tbsp ghee
25 g cashews
25 g almonds
25 g pistachios
25 g chironji
1½ tbsp ghee (for roasting vermicelli)
25 g vermicelli (sevaiyan)
1 liter milk
50 g mawa (khoya)
Cardamom powder (as per taste)
Condensed milk (as per taste)
Method:
Finely chop the cashews, almonds, pistachios, and chironji.
Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a pan and roast the chopped dry fruits until lightly golden.
In the same or another pan, heat 1½ tbsp ghee and roast the vermicelli until golden brown.
In a pot, bring 1 liter milk to a boil.
Once the milk starts boiling, add the roasted vermicelli.
Add the roasted dry fruits and mix well.
Add 50 g mawa and stir until it dissolves.
Add cardamom powder and condensed milk according to taste.
Cook on low flame for 10–15 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Turn off the flame. Let it cool slightly and serve.
