In this video, Grammar Squirrel and her friends consider what it takes to come up with an effective comparison to explain a complex concept succinctly and clearly in a way that will be understood by any audience. She learns about dead, mixed, and inappropriate comparisons and finds out why these should always be avoided, before giving thought to designing a couple of top-notch comparisons by following some easy guidelines.
