City of Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate officially launched the parkrun Australia 500 and Beyond photobook at Main Beach parkrun on 29 November. The book celebrates reaching 500 parkrun events in Australia and features a photo of every parkrun, starting with Main Beach in April 2011.
The Mayor was presented with Book #1 to donate to the City's library collection and then joined in to complete the course. Additional copies will now be donated to the National Library and State Library collections.
The photobook is available in the parkrun Australia shop, with all proceeds going towards funding life-saving defibrillators which are compulsory at all our events: https://shop.parkrun.com.au/products/...
