This one is special to me. I first heard the original version by The Cranberries in the '90s, probably while watching music videos on MTV. I was just a kid back then and didn't understand the lyrics (I hadn't yet learned english), but the audiovisual impact was so powerful that the song has stuck with me ever since. However, I decided to record a version based on the Bad Wolves cover. In recent years, it's the one that's rekindled my '90s memories. To make it unique, I decided to record two bass guitar parts. Something you won't find (until my version is published) on YouTube – the bass guitar plays the piano melody, and the second bass guitar takes over the low, distorted bass lines.

Only Strandberg (the piano part) plays in the verses to avoid adding too much low-end.

If, however, you prefer to skip the piano part and play a classic bass part, play whole root notes in the verses: D, A#, F, C (verse starting from the 5th bar after the intro).

Played on a Dingwall combustion 5 (lower part of tablature, distorted sound) and Strandberg boden 5 standard bass (upper part of tablature, piano part).

Both basses tuned B E A D G.
