In this chapter a few things happen:
-Gatsby comes over to Nick's for the first time and invites him to lunch
-Gatsby is acting strange and tells Nick about his family dying and his time in the war and how he got his wealth
-Gatsby tells Nick that he has a request of him and that Jordan Baker will tell Nick what it is
-They go to lunch and meet up with a guy named Mr. Wolfsheim
-At lunch they see Tom, and Gatsby seems uncomfortable and disappears
-Jordan tells Nick that Daisy and Gatsby used to be in love
-Jordan says that Gatsby wants Nick to invite Daisy to his house so that he and Daisy can reconnect
