Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said: "Another 185 Ukrainian defenders are returning home from Russian captivity. One civilian is also returning alongside the defenders.

“Some of them are returning after years in Russian captivity, having been held since 2022. I thank everyone who makes this possible: the team working on prisoner exchanges and our partners."

Russia's Defense Ministry said: "After receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance, the Russian servicemen will be transported to the Russian Federation for further treatment and rehabilitation."
