Finally, as successful bear hunt! This has proven more difficult than I expected due to the adverse weather conditions. I need the bear hide to repair my bedroll.
The bear appears to have died not inaccessibly far from the float plane near Drift Island. It's a bit late in the day for this, but worse case I should be able to stay in the aircraft overnight.
Also, I have loads of cooked fish so I can ramp up Vitamin C levels prior to heading back to ... somewhere. Rather tempted to head for the Sundered Pass at some point.
