"Sonidos del Barrio" was a 2002 Austin Music Network production, presented by the Austin Latin Music Association. This first of four segments features Grammy-winning Tejano musician Ruben Ramos performing live between clips from an interview in which he discusses his family's roots around Austin and in music, the origins of his band The Mexican (later Texas) Revolution and touring the west coast, the difference between Tejano and Norteña, and his unique fashion sense.
