BMW M has really put a lot of energy into developing the new M4 CS. The result is a car that is fun to drive on country roads and can handle the racetrack and daily commute without any problems. The lower weight is not really noticeable, because the car is still quite heavy, but the new engine control unit, improved settings for the ZF automatic transmission and the active M differential, together with the significantly revised chassis, is a big step forward in terms of driving dynamics. The M4 CS is not only faster, but it is perfectly readable and it is very easy to choose a driving style according to the current mood or the road. You really feel the car! You can choose so easily at any point whether to drive clear line or slide it sidewas. The only minor negative is the (again) too thick steering wheel and a little dead-feel steering.
