In this short video produced in conjunction with the exhibition "Plugged In: Art and Electric Light," Associate Curator Maggie Bell reflects on Dan Flavin’s “monument” on the survival of Mrs. Reppin (1966) and Untitled (1969), and how the artist transformed the mundane glow of fluorescent tubes into aesthetic experiences.
