A fun afternoon solo hiking in South Snowdonia and finally ticking off Cadair Idris! I went via the Minfforrd path and I have linked the circular route I followed below (I skipped out going over to Cyfrwy). The lake that is popular for wild swimming is Llyn Cau! If you’re planning a trip to Snowdonia or looking for a beginner-friendly ridge walk in Wales, this hike is a must.
