Ihr autobiographischer Comic-Roman "Heute ist der letzte Tag vom Rest deines Lebens" ist mehrfach ausgezeichnet worden, zuletzt beim Festival von Angoulême und den Ignantz Awards. Wir haben die frisch als Professorin gekürte Künstlerin einen Tag lang in ihrem Prenzl'berger Kiez begleitet: im Bett, beim Frühstück, bei der Arbeit. Ein Portrait, so hautnah und unverfälscht wie ihre Arbeit.

Graphic Novels are a form of art - if you still think otherwise, try reading the works of austrian author Ulli Lust. Her autobiographical novel "Today is the last day of the rest of your life" was greeted with great success, being awarded multiple prizes at prestigious events, amongst them the Angoulême Festival and the Ignantz Awards. We spent a day with the artist, recently nominated professor at the university of Hannover, in beautiful Prenzlauer Berg, following her from bed to breakfast, and from work to bed again. The outcome is a portrait as authentic and genuine as her work.
