Inside the Thunderhead, on the Isle of Songs, is a puzzle you must solve in order to get the three platforms to form a bridge to the tower. I don't know if my solution is the fastest way to do it, but I think it must be pretty close if it's not. To solve it my way do the following:
1. Rotate the thing in the middle 7 times.
2. Hit the jewel on the right, then rotate 6 times.
3. Hit the jewel on top, then rotate 9 times.
4. Finally, hit the jewel on the left and rotate once.
If you make a mistake at any point and need to reset everything, just jump onto your Loftwing and then right back onto the Isle of Songs.
