Trump eases food tariffs as prices on coffee, bananas and beef continue rising

Recent data shows sharp cost increases: coffee up nearly 19 percent, bananas up 7 percent, and beef up more than 14 percent in the past year. Economists say earlier tariffs contributed to the rising prices. President Trump rejects affordability criticism, while a Pennsylvania grocer says the federal shutdown and loss of SNAP benefits are hurting sales, wages, and his community.
