The Dog Mountain Trail is one of the best in the Columbia River Gorge, offering spectacular panoramic views from the top, with the added bonus of magnificent wildflower displays if you visit at the right time of year! We were lucky enough to catch the tail end of the flowers when we visited in May 2018. The hike up was extremely steep and tough going, but the views from the top along with the fantastic weather that day made it all worthwhile!
