Who is Abhilash Tomy? Indian sailor and adventurer Abhilash Tomy has made history by becoming the first Asian to complete the gruelling 30,000 mile Golden Globe Race, which is considered the longest endurance race in the world. After nearly eight months of traversing oceans and rounding great capes, Tomy sailed across the finish line at France's Les Sables d'Olonne on Saturday morning. The race is also known as the 'voyage of madmen'.
