The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute has released its global military spending report for 2024. The report shows that the world has spend almost $2.7 Trillion on weapons last year. Leading the table is the United States followed by China, Russia and Germany. In fifth place is India which has spend more than 9 times that of Pakistan’s military. The report comes as two wars, i.e., the one in Ukraine and in Israel rage on. Meanwhile, tensions between India and Pakistan continue to soar after the terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
