This came after Allahabad High Court convicted the accused in the 2006 Varanasi Bomb Blast case. SP was shielding 15 accused back in 2012 when it came into power in Uttar Pradesh and filed a plea to withdraw the cases filed against these accused of the Varanasi attack. Now, after the court's verdict, BJP is targeting SP and questing for their stand.
