Описание: It is highly important to identify and highlight novelty in high quality journal publications. Novelties are also important for higher degree thesis, research grant proposal to convince examiners/panel members. Many young even experienced researchers face difficulties to address the novelties appropriately. As a result, papers are rejected by the editors/reviewers of high-quality journals. This creates frustration among the researchers. In this hands-on experience sharing session, we will discuss and practice in understanding the novelty, how to identify them through critical review of literatures, highlight the level/depth of novelty. Some examples of poor and strong novelties from high quality journals will be presented and discussed.
