I started having problems with the battery being drained overnight in the winter, and after investigation with the parasitic loaded tester, realize that it was the limit switch in the door latch. When the door is open, it keeps the computer on. 
In this case it only happens in the cold when you try to open the door but it doesn’t quite open (appears closed). I’ve had to use a hairdryer to get it closed before(the mechanical part of the latch gets angry) and have a low-voltage hair dryer and an extension cord ready to go.
The tester is meant to be plugged into the fuse box on specific circuits. I added an extension to the tester in order to have it in the cabin while I was testing things on my own.
If you try to start the car under this configuration, it blows the fuse instantly.
