Oberg Mountain Loop Hike Tofte/Lutsen Minnesota (June 7,2021)

Описание: With temperatures in the mid 90's and humid, we decided to head to the North Shore of Lake Superior for 5 days and do some hiking and biking from a base in Tofte MN. I had done some looking for the best hikes on the North Shore and found the Oberg Mountain Loop. With its close location to Tofte, we decided it would be a good hike to do before we checked into our hotel (AmericInn Tofte, good basic accommodations). This turned out to be an amazing hike with beautiful vistas of Lake Superior, Lake Oberg, and the surrounding North Shore mountains/forests. The hike is a pretty gentle one for the North Shore and does not have much elevation gain to deal with. As a bonus, there are signs identifying the different flowers and trees on the hike. I would say this is a "must do" hike on the North Shore.
