Flight Simulator 2000: Test on Windows 8.1

It is interesting, to me, that FS2000 did not work for me at all on Windows 8.0, it crashed on the splash screen as soon as I started it. Somehow, this 8.1 update now allows FS2000 to run without much trouble. An issue it has is that part of the scenery will disappear and create a hall of mirrors effect if I pick adaptive multisampling anti-aliasing in my AMD video card settings, which does not bother me at all since I always use supersample anti-aliasing instead, though. This issue, I believe, has nothing to do with Windows 8.1. Another issue has to do with Bandicam, it will not record the panel unless I record using rectangle on the screen instead of DirectX/OpenGL hooking. This also, I believe, has nothing to do with Windows 8.1, as I had this exact same issue on Windows Vista. Otherwise, FS2000 seems to be quite stable, perhaps more so than on Windows Vista.
I am still upset that FS98 refuses to work on Windows 8.x.
