Kathu 2 is the second volume of the superhit Tamil cartoon series Kathu (காத்து, Kathy) from the creators of Pattampoochi and Pupi. The core theme of Kathu is essential life values for children ie: Love, Courage, Empathy, Obedience and so on. Value education is always monotonous for kids and adults. Kathu present the education part in an entertaining way which make Kathu a favourite for teachers and parents too. In 2011 Kathu was selected as the best childrens programme by State Academy of Film, Government of Kerala. Now days Kathu (Kathy is an integral part of every kindergarten)

Kathu (காத்து) is a family story. Kathu the cute Kitten is the central character of this animation movie. She lives with her dad, mom and younger brother Kittu. Appu the squirrel and three grasshoppers are her best friends. Appu is a music freak. The neighbours are uncle crane, the king fisher family, orioles, the thieves chindan and chundan, and the villain Kandan. There pranks and plays make the songs and stories of this animation film.

This song Dindaka Dindam is about arrogance. One day on their way back from Thiruvizha Kathu and her brother Kittu got a Sweet cake from Chettiyar uncle's shop. How to share became a big fight. Suddenly appu appeared there and he said he shall share it for them. what happened next ? Watch out.
