THE EXPANSIONIST RANKING SYSTEM:
As someone who is biased towards expansions in the first place, how inclined would I be to add this to the base game with every expansion?
(1) ESSENTIAL - I LOVE this expansion! I want to play it with everything!
(2) MIGHT AS WELL - I love expansions in the first place, so might as well play with this one too. But if I had to play with fewer expansions, I'm more okay with leaving this one out.
(3) KEEP IT SIMPLE - I do not want to play this with a whole bunch of other expansions.
(4) LEAVE IT THERE - I straight up do not like this one. These are the first expansions I'd bring up not playing with.
