UN condemns intensifying Israeli attacks on Palestinians in Gaza, despite ceasefire

The UN condemned the intensifying Israeli attacks on Palestinians in Gaza at a press conference on Wednesday.  UN rights office spokesman Thameen Al-Kheetan told reporters that “nowhere is safe for Palestinians in Gaza”.
Israel has killed more than 1,100 Palestinians in Gaza since the ceasefire came into effect last October.  The humanitarian situation also remains catastrophic with the strip still not receiving sufficient aid for the over two million people.
