The Debt Ceiling and Immigration Reform

Описание: On Thursday night, the Senate voted to raise the federal debt ceiling by $480 billion, averting a financial crisis when 10 Republican Senators broke ranks to pass the bill. The House will reconvene Tuesday to take up the bill, which President Biden has already indicated he is ready to sign. 

With the debt limit crisis temporarily averted, the House will return to negotiating the social safety net bill that they plan to pass through the budget reconciliation process.
