Iran has struck the US consulate in Dubai, UAE. Videos of the strike shared in social media capture the moment of strike followed by strong explosions. Bystanders can be seen watching in panic as black smoke rises from the facility. No casualties have been reported in the attack so far. In addition, there have been reports of strikes on a US base in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Visuals of the attack feature massive blaze and plumes of thick smoke in the area. Iran has been launching retaliatory attacks on US diplomatic missions and military bases in response to joint US-Israeli strikes that have killed hundreds of people in its territory since Saturday. Earlier today, Iranian drones struck the US Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, causing a fire and minor material damage to the compound, prompting the embassy to cancel services and urge Americans to shelter in place; this followed an earlier drone attack on the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait. Both embassies were subsequently closed and non-essential diplomatic personnel were ordered to leave several Middle Eastern countries as security conditions deteriorated. Iranian forces expanded their use of ballistic missiles and drones across the Gulf, targeting U.S. military facilities, regional infrastructure and allied states that host American forces. In Bahrain, missiles and drones struck near the US Fifth Fleet headquarters, and air defenses in several Gulf states - including Qatar and Kuwait - have been actively intercepting Iranian weapons.
