Описание: Redbelly Snakes (Storeria occipitomaculata) are small North American snakes that have brilliant red bellies that they may flash at predators to avoid being eaten. These snakes are often confused with Ring-necked snakes but there are a few identifying features that will be unmistakeable. A great species to find while herping for snakes because Red-bellied snakes are common and are found in all sorts of habitats with moist soil conditions and places and objects to hide beneath. The vibrant red bellies on these snakes might fool you into thinking these reptiles are venomous and therefore dangerous, but these snakes are harmless. They never bite and they don't even climb. Do not fear these animals and remember Redbelly snakes are non-venomous and no snake is poisonous. Well... #herping #snakevideos #reptiles
