If easy walking, stunning views and industrial heritage with abandoned quarry working ruins are your thing, then take a trip to Titterstone Clee Hill in Shropshire, approximately midway between Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow. There's convenient free parking right next to the remains of the quarry workings and from here you can enjoy any number of walks, scramble to the top of the hill or take the easy route along mainly tarmac paths to enjoy panoramic views across Shropshire.
This timelapse was shot over 2 visits (3 if you include the day there was horizontal snow and I couldn't even get the car door open!) on my home made slider ( • DIY Video/Time Lapse Slider with Rotating ... ). On the first visit I used a Nikon D600 and on the second I switched to my old Panasonic GH3.
Each frame is a 3 shot bracket and these were batch processed in SNS-HDR, then assembled and edited in Premiere. My colour grading isn't up to much but I think some of the clouds look decent.
