In today’s video I’m going to be talking about something a bit controversial and that is mostly everything to do with the fitness community and how toxic it can be (I changed the title from what's in the video because I came up with a better name as I'm posting this lmao) and how there are so many people who are lying to their audience about their journey and how they actually got there. I know this opinion in itself is controversial but just because you have a nice body doesn't mean you need to be doing 1:1 training, or selling workout guides when everything on the internet is entirely free. I think we have created this weird parasocial relationship with people online and we'll do anything to be in the closest proximity with them, even if that means paying them for subpar training. A lot of the times when people say they offer online training, I don't hear about anything of those clients and the results. Then 6 months later they have something huge to announce and it's yet another workout guide or app that feels like a quick money grab. I genuinely believe that you need to have some type of qualifications to be training people in some type of aspect because it's extremely misleading. Also leading into the overconsumption that some people deal with and it isn't talked about enough. Again, everything said in this video is completely my own opinion and you don't have to agree with it!
