This video is my tribute to Fallout 2, a personal project made with Unreal Engine 5. As a huge fan of the original fallout games I’ve always wanted to see their world in 3d or a film, so I figured why not make a short one, somewhat based on the intro to Fallout 2. It’s surely not perfect, I’ll keep working on it as I learn Unreal Engine and character animations.

Most of the hero assets were modeled with Blender and Houdini. The buildings geometry is from Kitbash3d. Lots of Megascans stuff here, nowhere without them. Vault people and street junkies were animated with Mixamo. Many of the background assets were downloaded from sketchfab. I’ll list some of the artists here:
